You may have heard that 1 in 5 woman on college campuses have been sexually assaulted.
FCKH8 said 1 in 5 woman (implying all woman) are sexually assaulted, which is incredibly wrong but i believe it is based off this survey.
A 2007 campus sexual assault survey that was conducted by the National Institute of Justice. The study was done with students from two universities. It was an online survey that took 15 minutes to complete and 5,446 under graduate woman participate.
Here are graphs provided from the study, i believe it is of the women in the study (btw yes men were in the study)
these graphs should have shown you how small the amount actually is compared to non victims, making the 1 in 5 kind of an exaggeration.
Here is another graph that
This shows you the amount of sexual assault cases have gone down over the years.
The most important thing to understand about this study is it began in 2005 and ended in 2007. It is almost over a decade old and i guarantee things have gotten better since then, so stop spreading fear. Btw i do wish that it was 0% on both but sadly that is next to impossible.
Here are sources that go in more detail and also helped provide information:

I want every person who preaches this statistic to be choking on this.
