If a dancer sprains their ankle they’ll just wrap it and smile through the pain as they do crazy-ass jumps and turns and shit on it. Like, how even, Id be crying and falling over but they look like fucking deities

Theater kids rehearse for hours every day. HOURS. Like, 8+ hours on a SUNDAY for gods sake I don’t see no football player doing that tbh

Don’t even get me started on music kids. Not only do they have to have SUCH A HIGH TOLERANCE FOR BULLSHIT but reeds are fucking hell and strings fillet your fingers into little strips of flesh. Ew, I know.

And like the art kids (painting and sculpting and that shit) holy hell
do they have patience. Anyone else who stares at a canvas for 6 hours consecutively would probs go
insane and commit mass murder. And holy hell batman paint hurts like a soda can up your ass when it gets in your eyes like nooooo

Makeup artists have to deal with your ugly ass faces and somehow (probs by using black magic) turn trashcans into gods.

Then there’s photographers who will literally sometimes crawl down drainpipes or fall head-first out
of trees to get a nice picture. I wouldn’t do none of that shit wasted as fuck, let alone sober.

Conclusion: Art ppl= hardcore as peaches

and then theres animators who sit in front of a computer frying their brains out for a 2 minute short

Don’t forget culinary arts kids who have to make dishes (sometimes 3 course meals) and do cleanup of all their materials a small time period. Or lids who have to do displays and food on themes they know nothing about. It’s more intense than cooking shows on foodnetwork since nobody has more than a year of experience in the food industry.

Don’t forget singers who have to maintain perfect health all the FUCKING TIME to sound good, warmups that feel like a god damn WORK OUT (seriously, breathing exercises are HELL to your abs), having to sustain notes for fucking EVER and do it all without straining your voice, which changes depending on mood and health and what you’ve eaten that day which SUCKS, and you have to keep track of the notes and create them from your own FUCKING BODY without playing it on some instrument, because guess fucking what? you ARE THE INSTRUMENT, and there ARE NO KEYS TO PUSH

And don’t forget about writers who have to sit there and stare at a screen all day (assuming they’re typing on a computer unless they have to write it down on paper and, in that case, bless their poor souls) and think through everything and staring at a blank screen, writing and rewriting and scrapping and writing something else. Just sitting there for months and maybe even years writing out an entire book filled with a world they created. These people spend days going through Hell trying to write (and often rewrite) a few paragraphs, trying to create their own stories with their own original and unique characters, going through idea after idea after idea only to end up scrapping them all and writing something entirely different from what they originally planned. And don’t even get me started on trying to publish a work
