I can’t stand when people use the word “fuckboy,” insult or not. And I’m not if favor of banning words, no matter how severe or offensive they are, but limiting their usage and educating the user on the origin of the word in question is different.

It’s become such a casual and “empowering” type of insult for self righteous idiots, and it disgusts me that most people don’t know where the word spawns from. “Fuckboy” is a prison term referring to a male inmate whom is used as the prison’s sexual rag doll. Congratulations people of the internet, you’re trivializing prison rape. You can say it’s the male equivalent of the word “slut,” but I’d say you’re ignorant.
