Remember that nasty bitch who ran a marathon without a tampon and was praised by the media for
being a public health hazardfighting sexism?Turns out the winner of that marathon was a woman called Tigist Tufa, who ran 26.2 miles in 2 hours and 23 minutes, faster than any man who participated. Guess who got hardly any media attention after this amazing achievement, because everyone was busy celebrating a random runner, who took twice as long to complete the race, but was talented enough to stain her pants?
I wonder if people found someone pissing their pants and running a marathon with piss stains just as inspirational?
Jesus this post was so mean spirited. Yeah it’s unfair that the winner didn’t get as much media attention, especially when she did it amazingly. But period shaming Kiran Gandhi isn’t respectful especially when she is someone who is usually in so much physical pain when she’s on it. And bloody hell it’s only blood for fuck sake
Blood is a major health hazard, you dumbass. Do you have any idea how many diseases are transmitted by blood? It literally drips off the nasty person who is retarded enough not to use a damn pad or a tampon and it can be dangerous if someone comes in contact with it.
Nobody is “period-shaming” her, most women have periods, but most of us care too much about our own health and the health of other people to act like she did, for nothing else than attention.
She’s a disgusting person, plain and simple. Something like that should NOT be encouraged, just like we shouldn’t encourage people with wounds to bleed all over public places.
this is the year we begin to see runners slowly phased out by people who shit themselves on the starting line and blog about it
“Click here to see how one brave woman raised awareness about the high price of adult diapers by shitting herself in the middle of London”
We have actual women’s accomplishments blotted out because the media wants to talk about the woman who fucking soiled herself.
Feminism, ladies and gentlemen.
