We need feminism because one of the main reasons most men hate it and think it’s stupid is because they are not the top priority in the majority of the conversations.
Ex: *while talking about female rape victims* Man: “Well what about MALE rape victims. Talk about THEM. We hear enough about female victims!!1!!1″
Like no real feminists absolutely care about the male victims of rape/sexual abuse/domestic abuse but just because most of the time we talk about women first does not mean it’s any less important.
Considering that most people don’t know that men make up 50% of all rape and sexual assault victims, it’s completely legitimate for them to bring that up.
“We absolutely care but could you please stop brining it up”.
