Prior to Affordable Care Act, 92 percent of health insurance plans in the individual market were gender-rated, for example, charging 40-year-old women more than 40-year-old men for coverage.

Now it’s illegal to charge women more for Health insurance than men. So, I get that you’re a dumb fucking feminist, but how do you suspect insurance providers are covering the difference?

Do you think they slashed the cost of women’s health insurance some 80% or do you think they jacked up the price of men’s health insurance?

Women’s health insurance wasn’t more expensive just for shits and giggles or *shrieks* “MISOGYNY!!!, it’s because women tend to spend more on Healthcare than men.

Since its now illegal to charge women more DESPITE THE FACT WOMEN ARE GETTING MORE they now charge men more even though men are getting just as much or less than they were before.

You know. For equality.
