This hasn’t offended me.
I don’t think a size 12 is ‘fat’. I don’t think there is a size where you say, ‘Oh you’ve gone up to that number, now you are FAT’, that’s not how it works. ‘Fat’ is the same as ‘Skinny’ or ‘Beautiful’ or ‘Ugly’, it’s a word. It’s value is only perceived by the person using it, which means, you can decide yourself if you are fat or thin or whatever words you want to call yourself.
My advice though would be to call yourself ‘lovely’ and ‘beautiful’ and ‘just right’ because you have the power to make that choice and you have the power to feel nice.
My line is a size 12-32 because that’s the size range the company making the clothes does. Some shops stock 4-16, some stock 16-46. In an ideal world, ALL shops would stock EVERY size and I think we are working towards that, with a lot of high street stores now moving into the 20′s of stuff.
Healthy eating and increased water intake is great and to be commended but ‘skinnier equals prettier’ is not correct. Try and make your mind think - Confident is prettier.
Sometimes I have a moment when I feel down but then I think about this-
I feel confident enough to say, ‘I am beautiful’. I also feel confident in saying, ‘My friend Zoe is beautiful’. Zoe and I are clearly VERY different sizes and shapes and have different styles. Does that mean one of us is not beautiful or can more than one type of something be attractive and good and worthy? Yes. It does.
You are fine, just like everyone else xxxx
