• insists that they are an awesome dancer even though they’re terrible: PERIDOT. at least amethyst can own up to it
• likes to watch reality tv: amethyst got peridot into it so they watch it together and peridot thinks its the most Real earth programming
• refuses to wear pants when they’re home alone: amethyst for sure
• is the jealous / protective one: amethyst gets kind of insecure/jealous like “what if im not good enough”. peridot gets a little jealous too bc amethyst is close w/ pearl and garnet so when they hang out a lot she gets frustrated. really its a bit of both
• goes all out on the holidays: amethyst!!! she likes going on holiday themed dates so they go ice skating or trick-or-treating together (they dont even have to dress up)
• cries over books: peridot cause shes a fuckin baby
• is terrible with kids: also peridot. she tries to be nice but she just. fails. (*amethyst is holdin a baby* “fascinating…… teach me your ways” *peridot starts frantically scribbles notes)
• drinks too much caffeine: both of them tbh
• could sleep for twenty-four hours straight: amethyst. peridot is the opposite
• never wears matching socks: amethyst for sure
• punches a tree when they’re angry: also amethyst
• gets scared by the toaster: peridot bc “WHAT THE DIAMOND ARE THESE STRANGE APPLIANCES
