I hate it when i'm describing how i feel when i get anxious and people say "Just stop thinking that way." Believe me, if i could i would have done so a long time ago.
That is their typical response – but in a way, you have to put yourself in their shoes. They don’t suffer from what you do, so they don’t completely understand and for them, it easier to say to get over it because they probably don’r suffer from any form of mental issues, and perhaps that is their way of helping. There really is no cure to making you instantly better, its just something that needs to be worked on and hopefully improved as time goes on.
