yeah I think a reassuring statement is just what ppl need to hear, but yk what they are like.. always silence in these things.. but I think something has to be done to make them see how worried we are.

D+P aren’t touring because management made them, this is their baby. They worked so hard on this show.

They probably can’t cancel if they wanted to, because they did so much of the organising themselves they could be liable for stuff like theatre deposits etc, and while there’s probably insurance, there’s no way an insurance company would see this are good enough reason to pay out.

And more importantly - people have died. It is extremely disrespectful to Christina Grimmie, the people lost in the Pulse nightclub shooting, and their friends and families, to take the shock and grief from what’s happened and try to make it about D+P. 

I know they’re a big part of our lives, but this isn’t about them.

Like. I wont lie. When I heard about Christina, I immediately thought of D+P. But like, statistically, the most dangerous part of the tour is all the travelling on roads they’re doing.

They have professional security, getting a hashtag trending won’t keep them any safer. They know what happened and will be doing everything they can.

There’s only ten more days of the tour. Dan and Phil will be fine. 

I get that everyone’s worried, I am too, but if you really need to express that then tweet at D or P directly, say you’re thinking of them and hope they’re safe or whatever, but don’t make it a big public thing. They know we care.
