Acephobes are still gross and any and all aces belong in LGBT+ spaces.
*taps the mic* cis heteroromantic aces, cis heterosexual aros, and cis aroaces have no business in lgbt spaces because lgbt was formed to combat transphobia and homophobia, something which the three types of aces/aros above benefit from.
*grabs megaphone and yells* Except they really don’t. Bi people in het relationships also don’t benefit from any of the above. They still are outed, feel a disconnect from society, treated like shit by acephobes/society who tell them various reasons why their orientation is bullshit or made up, etc., The LGBT was formed to include anyone who wanted to be involved in the group and find a place many feel is a second home, especially if kicked out of their first homes/hated by their families. As this can happen to ace people THEY BELONG IN THE SPACE TOO.
