Dr. Seuss was a racist. He wouldn’t attach his words to an interracial romance. Here are seven racist cartoons he made about Japanese-Americans during WWII.

He also later apologized and wrote Horton Hears a Who! to illustrate his remorse for his previous way of thinking

To clarify; his racist cartoons were done in the 40’s, when the US was at war with Japan. Some of them were done at the behest of the Army Signal Corps.

And despite his later regretting having done some of them, he still recognized that they were necessary at that time due to the war.

Oh, and that quite isn’t by Seuss. It appears in none of his works or letters, so please, stop attributing it to him.
