I’m laughing because all of these are true.

Market Basket was the big grocery store in New England.

Safeway and Fred Meyers was the grocery store in Spokane.

Kroger and HyVee while I was in Omaha.

And now, it’s Fry’s. It’s like the only state where it exists like some kind of grocery oasis in this scorching desert.

I love being from New England because New England grocery stores are the best.  Everything at Shaw’s is orange and everything at Demoulas is salmon pink.  We’re wicked color coordinated.  I love us.
