Stop saying “the child” PLEASE I am autistic and am 25 years old ALL autistic children become autistic adults we do not outgrow autism we just learn more coping strategies so we can pass as more normal, we are NOT normal and not encouraging autistic ADULTS to take charge of their heightened senses is wrong!
