Overwatch Random Headcanons
- Moira and Genji used to watch Anime together after the cyborg ninja found out about Moira’s passion after an… incident. They convinced Akande to watch some with them. Obviously, he adores One Punch Man.
- When she was a kid, Amélie loved la galette des rois. She opened up to Gabe about it after a particularly terrible nightmare. She told him about how she used to go under the table and distribute the slices.
- It became a tradition in the newly reformed Overwatch. As she crouched under the table, she might have shed a little tear. Sombra gently held out her hand. Amélie held on tightly, as she distributed the slices.
- Gabriel and Sombra celebrated el Dia de Los Muertos without warning anyone. The ex-Talon team was used to it. Reinhardt had a small heart attack.
- Fareeha and Rein go fishing every Sunday. Sometimes, Brigitte and Torb tag along. Reinhardt is still butthurt over the fact that Fareeha is much better at this than he ever could be.
- It is now forbidden to play monopoly during the monthly Games’ Night, Angela almost murdered Moira, and Lena had four existential crises.
- Amélie always puts on a light on her windowsill on December the 8th, as she pays respect to the French tradition La Fête Des Lumière. Also always makes crêpes for the whole team with Angela for la Chandeleur.
- Sombra and Hana try to take the most unflattering pictures of the crew. So far, the winner is Jack ‘Four chins covered in drool’ Morrison. Gabriel hung the picture in the main hall, and tried to make it the official flag.
- Junkrat is forbidden from cooking anything. He managed to make something explode will making cereals.
- Angela is not allowed to bake anything but crepes. She once put 6 cups of salt instead of 6 caps.
- The supports are prohibited from accessing the alcohol cabinet without supervision.
- Orisa, Bastion and Athena never forget birthdays, even when the agents in questions don’t want to make a big deal out of it, they always find gifts.
- Orisa likes singing songs they like, Bastion brings them whatever flower or rock they found pretty, and Athena allows them to go wherever they want to go for the day, lying to anyone if they ask where the agent is.
- Gabriel threw a quinceanera party for Sombra with the rest of team. Even though they were 15 years late, she was incredibly touched.
- Hana is still trying to get a college degree, everyone on the team is always ready to help, be it with homework, or to explain something.
- They show up at her graduation, even disguised. She cried. A lot. They are all very proud of her.
- They are a ragtag family, some of them are broken, some of them sometimes doubt whether or not they belong, but they do know that despite their differences, they have each other’s backs and supports.
- Gabriel and Jack are always worrying that Overwatch will fall back into its old patterns. Angela and Ana also originally feared the same thing, but as they looked at the new organisation, they realised that they would never make the same mistakes.
- Gabe and Jack want to enjoy it while it lasts. It’s been so long since they had a place and a family where they could truly belong.
